Aqua4mums is a fun and easy way to keep fit during your pregnancy. Your physio will guide you to strengthen and stretch your body safely, while almost weightless in water, so you can enjoy your pregnancy without discomfort and powerfully prepare your mind and body for labour and beyond!

It’s simply the easiest and best way of exercising 4 pregnant women!

    All Aqua4mums instructors are Chartered Physiotherapists, so can adapt all moves/work to accommodate any pregnancy related problems you are experiencing.

    Imagine being 40 weeks pregnant, 2-3 stone heavier than usual and a little bit hot. Now imagine slipping into a pool where you weigh 1/4 of normal, feel light and agile and ready to rock and roll!

Our Classes

Aqua4mum’s antenatal classes are an easy and fun way to keep fit and strong during your pregnancy and help prepare your body for labour and birth.

Aqua4mum’s postnatal classes are a great way for coming back to exercise after your baby (ies!) is born, enabling your body to recover, strengthen and work out some kinks in a lovely warm, supportive pool.

Aqua4mum’s baby classes are where you’ll learn the skill of Baby Massage and spend some lovely bonding time with your baby.

Antenatal Classes

Aquanatal Exercise combines the relaxing weightless effect of being in water with a fun exercise class tailored for Mums-to-be.

I attended Aileen’s aquanatal classes during my first pregnancy and am attending again now during my second. Both times I have had PGP and the relief I feel during and after a class is amazing. It is so reassuring that Aileen is a Physio and can adapt all the exercises so as not to aggravate any pain you have. Being able to stretch and exercise while in water is such a benefit if you do suffer from any back/hip/pelvic pain.

I also found the breathing exercises practiced every week in the class really helped me during my first labour. Above all it’s a tough, but fun, workout and it’s nice to meet other moms to be.

I would recommend the class to everyone but particularly those with back and/or pelvic pain.
